Examples from last month – Cambodian #journalist Mech Dara and overseas #activist Hay Vanna – were just the latest additions to a long list of activists and #critics forced by #threats or legal action to recant and pledge their loyalty to the ruling #CambodianPeoplesParty (CPP).
Those are some of the most high-profile instances. Several other opposition activists told #RadioFreeAsia that they were forced to pledge allegiance to the ruling party to maintain the safety of their family or to avoid politically motivated criminal charges.

Notably:
- #Julia is the only dynamically-typed languages amoung the top tier, only ~28ms slower from #Cpp (#Clang).
- #Rust got a huge boost with nightly compiler (it is said that hand-written SIMD is used?)
- #Go tops in 3rd tier (very crowded 0.8s~1s)
- #PyPy and #Haskell (#GHC) are very closed (~1s), preceding #Racket, beating #Python (#NumPy) by a lot (~1.2s)
- The slowest is #CPython (~86s) -

#ZLUDA Boasts Full #Llamacpp Support, Better Windows Handling For #CUDA On Non-NVIDIA GPU
ZLUDA developers had hoped to provide robust PyTorch support by end of 2025 but that didn't quite turn out. Llama.cpp support using NVIDIA CUDA back-end is now considered complete. Llama.cpp has #AMD ROCm but having ZLUDA support for Llama.cpp allows for performance comparisons. ZLUDA devs report that their route achieves "nearly identical" performance to the native ROCm back-end.

News Corp somehow forgot to mention that Roberto D'Angelo is a clinical advisor to the Society for Evidence-based Gender Medicine (#SEGM), a pseudoscientific anti-trans pressure group [1] [2] [3], which pretends to be supported by crowdfunding while actually being supported by large donations of opaque origin [4].
News Corp knew this, of course, but even if they hadn't, D'Angelo isn't exactly subtle about his views. His interaction with the public discourse is primarily through contributions to academic journals, so we can get a good idea of it by looking at his public profile on the academic social network ResearchGate [5].
On the list of publications which D'Angelo authored or co-authored, every publication since May 2018 [6] [7] [8] [9] [10] [11] [12] [13] [14] [15] has been open advocacy for trans hostile views. That's 10 of his 13 listed publications since 2003, incidentally; talk about #RileysLaw [16]!

Если вы пока не знакомы с техникой встраивания (inlining) то примите к сведению, что в сообществе специалистов по разработке компиляторов многие, в том числе очень авторитетные фигуры (например, Чендлер Каррут ) считают этот приём наиважнейшим при оптимизации компиляторов. Подробнее о том, как устроено встраивание, рассказано здесь — мы беззастенчиво хвалимся той презентацией, с которой выступили перед участниками конференции LLVM Developers' Meeting по межпроцедурной оптимизации. Я рассказывал о встраивании и очень рекомендую вам посмотреть хотя бы первые 6 минут. В этом видео я рассказываю, почему встраивание — очень простое преобразование, а вот тут вашему вниманию предлагается реализация встраивания, предложенная великим Крисом Латтнером уже около 20 лет назад — в ней всего около 200 строк кода. К сожалению, сегодня даже само преобразование пропорционально выросло: в качестве примера взгляните хотя бы на InlineFunction.cpp . В вышеупомянутом видео я рассказываю, что у встраивания есть свои недостатки . Иными словами, встраивание позиционируется как супер-пупер инструмент в арсенале компиляторщика, но пользоваться этой штукой следует с осторожностью. И следует ли вообще?
