Pictured here is a #Vienna π¦πΉ Type E tramcar, displaying their classical red and white livery. The destination board reads #BaΕ‘ΔarΕ‘ija, which means we werenβt quite in Vienna when I took this photo one morning in September 2008. This is actually #Sarajevo π§π¦, and the stop is adjacent to the cityβs train station. The tram is ready to work the loop around the βBazaarβ in the old town.

Thinking of Vienna, seeing it make the list again of top 10 liveable cities.#2 this year, behind Copenhagen.
My take was that indeed, it is quite walkable, around the city center, at least.
Everything is big, at grand scale, churches, palaces, & parks. Good trains & buses. Very spread out.
My biggest difficulty - as a tourist/visitor, was with communication (bus drivers, e.g.), not speaking the language. But trains were my friend.
