  1. Using (or any aka product for that matter) these days is like smoking: A bad habit!

  2. To me it's always baffling when I see people out in the wild not typewriting (10 fingers) properly.
Only using 2-4 fingers for typing, staring at the keyboard.

You're slow, your posture is really bad and it prevents you from clearly communicating as longer sentences/phrases are painful.

Developers that don't touch type tend to not document/document less etc.

Sure, AI tooling will generate code for you, but you still need to type the prompt yourself. 😅

  3. Things I will buy so far:

    * Phones (in my case phones for )
    * Laptops (I really don't need the latest hardware, especially when running Linux)
    * Bikes (got my folding bike used)

Due to inflation etc. people will resort to buy secondhand more and more to not feel like they're getting ripped off. Even vintage/secondhand clothing stores in feel like a rip-off, so I've got mixed feelings about that.

    EDIT: wording

  4. @slesa In case you're looking for a TUI file manager, but not necessarily a clone of midnight commander: is a great option :)

  5. I'm wondering how many people have found Mastodon because of the metal band Mastodon - I certainly have heard of the social media platform because I was searching for something band related a few years ago 😁

    Also RIP :(

  6. Oh boy, after being lucky enough to get Pathologic 3 ~33% instead of 20% off, I'm excited for this!

Still need to finish Pathologic 2 though!

  7. Man, for whatever reason playing freaks me out, while I'm not afraid of playing solo anymore, even though player encounters can be really scary too 🤔

I guess Pathologic in general sets up such an intense mood, I still need to get used to it.

  8. Saw Jim Jefferies perform for the third time over the years. Absolutely splendid and still funny as hell!

Can't say the same about Ricky Gervais, saw him perform earlier this year. Was a bit of a letdown sadly!

Hopefully I get to see Bill Burr someday as well 😁

  9. Still relevant. Been listening to BONES for at least 10 years now.
