What are people's thoughts on putting tags at the beginning of the post? My idea is that it would inform you more quickly on whether or not you want to read the post. But it does add in more whitespace before you get to the writing. It might also mess up screen readers?
I know I could use content warnings, but that seems excessive and dilutes their purpose. it also takes more work to unhide the post if you want to read it.

#ShowerThoughts: What if moa were introduced to Aotearoa by early Pacific mariners? Maybe the chicken sized ones, long enough ago that they giant ones could evolve by the time the "moa hunters" arrived?
Side note: these days, it's presumed the folk who unalived moa are ancestors of modern Māori. But we only have oral histories and dug up artifacts to go on, and those don't always line up. I've had Māori tell me their whakapapa goes back much further than the archeological record would suggest.

To me it's always baffling when I see people out in the wild not typewriting (10 fingers) properly.
Only using 2-4 fingers for typing, staring at the keyboard.You're slow, your posture is really bad and it prevents you from clearly communicating as longer sentences/phrases are painful.
Developers that don't touch type tend to not document/document less etc.
Sure, AI tooling will generate code for you, but you still need to type the prompt yourself. 😅

Ich hab da grad ne Idee: Wie wäre es, wenn an jedem größeren Bahnhof ein Zug mit Fahrer vorgehalten wird, der kurzfristig einspringen könnte, wenn ein anderer Verspätung hat. Nicht um ihn zu ersetzen, sondern um die wartenden Passagiere schon mal zum nächsten Bahnhof zu fahren. Der verspätete Zug könnte dann einen Halt auslassen und die Passagiere, die dort aussteigen wollten können mit dem vorgehaltenen Zug zurück fahren.
Ist natürlich blöd für die Passagiere, die die Strecke doppelt fahren müssen und Zeit verlieren, aber es könnte dabei helfen, dass der Fahrplan für die restliche Fahrt wieder eingehalten wird. Unterm Strich also im besten Fall positiv fürs Gesamtsystem. -
