Might actually start peacemaking with my youngest Auntie on Dad's side, after almost 20+ years of estrangement due to her nasty fuck partner - who she recently told my big Auntie has only been exploiting her kindness & drove her into bankruptcy after she was a successful small business owner woman for many years. It is exactly what I tried warning her about, over 20 years ago but she didn't believe me then or for years after. Her shame/guilt prevented her from extending an olive branch to me for a long time.
Better late than never to try to repair frazzled family connections.
