Microsoft ha cerrado una de las vías de activación pirata más populares y seguras para Windows y Office, conocida como el activador KMS38, tras el lanzamiento de la actualización Patch Tuesday de noviembre de 2025. Los PCs que utilizaban este método están perdiendo su licencia, forzando a los usuarios a comprar una clave legítima. Esta acción es vista como el último paso de Microsoft para endurecer su postura contra la piratería.
Microsoft ha asestado un golpe significativo a la piratería de software al cerrar la vía de activación KMS38, un método ampliamente utilizado para ejecutar copias no licenciadas de Windows y Office. La desactivación se hizo efectiva tras la implementación de la actualización de seguridad de noviembre de 2025 (Patch Tuesday).
El Adiós a KMS38
El KMS38, desarrollado por el grupo Massgrave (un acrónimo de Microsoft Activation Scripts), era una herramienta de código abierto considerada por muchos como la forma más sencilla y segura de activar software de Microsoft sin pagar. Su popularidad radicaba en que permitía a los usuarios recibir todas las actualizaciones oficiales, funcionando exactamente como una copia con licencia legítima.
Tras la última actualización, los usuarios que dependen del KMS38 están viendo cómo sus licencias caducan, con mensajes que les instan a comprar una clave original.
- Respuesta de los Desarrolladores: Los creadores de Massgrave han confirmado el bloqueo de Microsoft y han retirado la opción principal de activación KMS de su herramienta. Ahora, están instando a los usuarios a migrar a otros métodos de activación (Hardware ID o TSforge), al tiempo que expresan su esperanza de poder eludir el bloqueo de Microsoft en el futuro.
Endurecimiento de la Postura Antipiratería

MASSGRAVE анонсировали метод обхода лицензий Windows и Office
Группа хакеров MASSGRAVE заявила о разработке метода, который позволяет обойти защиту лицензий Windows и Office. По утверждениям группы, метод позволяет навсегда активировать «почти любую версию» программ, включая клиентские и серверные версии, а также ESU и CSVLK.
Поддерживаемыми продуктами стали Windows 7, Windows 8 и 8.1, различные серверные версии Windows, а также дополнительные функции и обновления безопасности. Одной из ключевых особенностей стало включение поддержки Extended Security Updates для Windows 10, которые начнут действовать в октябре 2025 года.
По словам хакеров, методы активации HWID и KMS применялись годами: первый с 2018 года, второй — более 17 лет. Однако эти способы не обеспечивали постоянную активацию всех версий, что, как утверждается, было устранено новым методом.
