CW: CW: transphobia, anti-trans rhetoric, political hate speech
I really need to stop reading all the trans-exclusionary stuff. It makes me angry. It makes me depressed. Frankly, my nervous system has filed a formal complaint.
Unfortunately, I also feel the need to document it. Screenshots. Dates. Names. Statements. The whole miserable little dossier.
Because one day, when the political weather changes, some of these people will suddenly insist they were always on our side. They will say they supported trans people, that they were merely asking questions, that they were always fighting for equality.
And I will remember.
Not because I enjoy keeping score. Not because I want revenge.
(I do enjoy both of these things, but...)
But because history has a nasty habit of being rewritten by people who know perfectly well what they said when it mattered.
I will not let that happen. Neither should you.
For future historians. For accountability. And because apparently somebody has to keep the fucking receipts.

Wir gedenken der Toten, der Frauen und Kinder, die so unvorstellbares Leid erfahren mussten, der Vermissten, der Überlebenden und aller, die bis heute mit den Folgen leben.
Doch Erinnern allein reicht nicht. Es verpflichtet uns:
#Menschenrechte verteidigen. Verbrechen gegen die Menschlichkeit benennen. Unsere Stimme erheben, wo Minderheiten verfolgt werden.Obwohl der Genozid international anerkannt ist, können viele Jesidinnen und Jesiden bis heute nicht in Frieden leben. Auch in Deutschland leben viele bedroht von #Abschiebung in die Unsicherheit.
Erinnerung verliert ihren Wert, wenn sie nicht mit politischer Verantwortung verbunden wird!
Als MFH stehen und trauern wir an der Seite der Betroffenen.

Iran identified alll victims of Minab Massacre except one.
The funeral of those remaining victims was held at the same time US was bombing Minab over and over again.
The funeral was a sad reminder to the horrors of US double tap bombing of primary school and almost 5 months of silence and indifference of the entire world.
The coffins of the victims contained small pieces of bones, flesh and bloody dirt the rescue workers and forensic experts gathered, sorted out and packed in small boxes to be buried in the mass grave where all the young children, the teachers, staff and some of the parents are buried.

Juni 2011 zündete der Rechtsterrorist Anders Breivik zunächst im Osloer Regierungsviertel eine Autobombe, die acht Menschen tötete. Danach überfiel er ein Feriencamp der Jugendorganisation der norwegischen sozialdemokratischen Arbeiderpartiet auf der Insel Utøya. Dort ermordete er 69 weitere Menschen.
