CW: Personal Health Update / Organ Transplantation
Well, so far all #renal #transplant tests are good, so that is positive. Just need to find a kidney now - don't have any live donor options, so 2-3 years on the list once these tests are all done and some of that on dialysis basically. Hopefully avoid that as long as possible!

Most of a day of #Renal tests to prepare for needing a #transplant / #dialysis. Everyone is very helpful and waffling away with room mate for the day who has Ankylosing Spondylitis. Makes me grateful I have been working away despite Crohn’s and chronic kidney disease since 2007 - this guy is late 30s and his career as a chef ended with the onset of his AK, sad for him. He is only able to get around now he is on regular biologic infusions. A reminder there is lways someone worse off than yourself
