    If a #stabbing occurs in or around a licensed venue or a big festival the organisers have already paid a substantial amount of money to the Council for the licence of which a portion pays for the costs of the public services which have to pick up the pieces ( not just criminal justice system but #NHS ), which is why club event and festival tickets a pricey nowadays..

    At an unlicensed event no such contribution is made, and NHS #paramedics have to go to remote areas with a potentially hostile crowd (some folk can't tell green and blue uniforms apart!), so every bad incident is used to justify more clampdowns
