„Künstliche intelligenz“ des tages

Na, ist hier jemand bei irgendwas aus dem spämmigen und für seine kriminelle spämm verurteilten fratzenbuch-konzern, zum beispiel bei finstergram oder beim fratzenbuch?

Einfacher geht’s kaum: Hacker:innen haben den KI-gestützten Support-Chatbot von Meta genutzt, um sich Zugang zu Profilen auf der Plattform Instagram zu verschaffen […] Der Angreifer täuschte mit einem VPN vor, aus der Region des Ziel-Accounts zu stammen und nutzte dann die „Passwort vergessen“-Funktion. Danach gab er dem Meta-Chatbot eine neue Mailadresse für den fremden Account und forderte den Bot auf, mit dieser zu kommunizieren. An diese Adresse schickte Meta dann fahrlässigerweise einen Verifikationscode, mit dem der Angreifer den anvisierten Instagram-Account übernehmen konnte

Mit verlaub, das ist kein häck und kein cräck, da musste gar nix überwunden werden. Immer wieder toll, was so alles passiert, wenn man irgendwo einfach und ohne für vernunftbegabte menschen nachvollziehbaren grund ein angelerntes neuronales netzwerk — von jornalisten, p’litikern und anderen digitalen analfabeten stets mit dem reklamewort „künstliche intelligenz“ bezeichnet — dranflanscht: sicherheitslücken, ausfälle, schäden, datenverluste, datenschleudereien.

Das ist übrigens auch nicht überraschend. Schon immer war komplexität das genaue gegenteil von sicherheit, fehlerfreiheit, wartbarkeit, robustheit, zuverlässigkeit, erweiterbarkeit und verbesserbarkeit — das gilt weit über die informatik hinaus. (Ich würde übrigens schon so ein komplexitätsmonster wie ein modernes auto nicht kaufen.) Und angelernte neuronale netzwerke sind so dermaßen komplex, dass nicht einmal richtige experten (also leute, die sich spezjell damit befassen und nicht solche allgemeinschwätzer wie ich) verstehen, was intern vorgeht, warum sie überhaupt funkzjonieren und warum sie manchmal nicht funkzjonieren. Es ist verantwortungslos und gefährlich, diesen scheißdreck aus der heiphölle überall dranzuflanschen. Und es ist mehr als nur fahrlässig, diesen scheißdreck an sicherheitsfunkzjonen wie anmeldung, passwortreset, kontenlöschung anzuflanschen. Oder an mordwaffen, was zurzeit etliche p’litiker für eine ganz großartige idee halten.

Wen hats denn getroffen?

Betroffen von dem Angriff waren unter anderem das White-House-Profil von Barack Obama und ein Account eines ranghohen Offiziers der US Space Force

Och, noch nichts richtig wichtiges. Ein expräsident und ein obermotz der weltraumstreitkräfte der USA, die nicht einmal raumfahrzeuge haben. 😁️

Aber trotzdem: mit solchen S/M-kanälen bekannter und vielgefolgter leute kann man als verbrecher schon etwas anfangen.

Aber macht nur weiter! Das gibt noch ein paar kataströfchen… und hoffentlich nicht so viele tote, wie einige intellektuell herausgeforderte im rausch eines kräftigen schluckes aus der Dunning-Kruger-flasche es am liebsten in ihren wahnvorstellungen von autonom agierenden mordwaffen hätten.

Kauft „smarte“ brillen!

Dann müssen billige „datenarbeiterys“ aus irgendwelchen dritte-welt-ländern auch nicht mehr so mühsam nach pr0n im internetz suchen.

Auch weiterhin viel spaß mit den angelernten neuronalen netzwerken, die euch von p’litikern, jornalisten und anderen digitalen analfabeten mit dem reklamewort „künstliche intelligenz“ verkauft werden!
