Feine Katzen Orchestra is a working ensemble that improvises freely. The three musicians bring different musical backgrounds ranging from traditional music to (free) jazz and contemporary classical music with them. They discuss various perspectives and
experiment with possible approaches to improvisation but rely ultimately on their musical intuition and their shared enthusiasm for the creative dialogue in the moment.

Ihre Musik bewegt sich zwischen Avantgarde und Eingängigkeit, zwischen Jazz, Improvisation und Alternative Rock und bleibt dabei immer unmittelbar.
2025 wurde Helene Glüxam mit dem Österreichischen Jazzpreis („Best Newcomer") ausgezeichnet. Ihr Solo-Debütalbum erschien im Juni 2026.

For some months I've tried to find cassette recorders, and to work with cassette recordings in music works. So far I’ve not found any fully working devices.
