At the center of Montreal’s Elephant Stone is Rishi Dhir, a songwriter and sitarist who has spent twenty years blurring the lines between Western psych-pop and Indian classical tradition. What began in 2006 as a quest for transcendental sound has evolved into a singular, self-contained vision. Operating out of his Montreal home studio, Sacred Sound, Dhir has emerged as a true studio auteur—producing, engineering, and mixing the band’s increasingly complex and cinematic output.
While the band’s reputation was built on airtight pop craftsmanship and spiritual exploration, their recent work—anchored by longtime members Miles Dupire, Robbie MacArthur, and Jason Kent—possesses a new, raw intensity. It is a sound forged through Dhir’s deep collaborative history with icons like The Black Angels, The Brian Jonestown Massacre, and Beck, as well as his role in the psych-supergroup MIEN.
With a discography spanning 10 acclaimed releases, Elephant Stone remains at the forefront of the modern movement, constantly deconstructing the past to find something visceral, haunting, and undeniably human in the present.

The Asteroid No.4 is an American psych-rock and shoegaze band now based in the San Francisco, after moving from Philadelphia in 2011. Formed in the late 90s, the group has earned a loyal underground following through immersive live shows characterized by layered guitars and heavy reverb. They boast a prolific discography, including 13 studio albums alongside numerous EPs and singles. Their signature sound blends shoegaze, 12-string folk-rock, Kosmische Musik, and cosmic country.
The band was founded by childhood friends Scott Vitt and Eric Harms, who previously played in punk and Smiths tribute acts. Inspired by 90s British shoegaze, they recruited bassist Gregg Weiss and drummer Bill Reim to complete the original lineup, debuting with a self-released 7-inch single on their own Lounge Records label.The name "The Asteroid No.4" honors Vesta (the solar system's brightest asteroid) and the UK psych band Spacemen 3. Sex Magick Wizards is a Norwegian-Sámi quartet blending psychedelic rock, free improvisation and joik into hypnotic, ritualistic soundscapes. For years they have stormed Europe’s underground and experimental music scenes, earning acclaim for intense and unpredictable live performances.
The double album "Suola ja Noaidi" (The Thief and the Shaman) draws on themes of colonisation, weaponised religion and Sámi resilience. Working from this cultural material, Sex Magick Wizards have created a double album combining traditional joik elements with their signature experimental rock sound and freeform avant-garde improvisation. By combining fragments of Northern Sámi from the original poem with new lyrics in both English and Northern Sámi and focusing more heavily on vocals, the band creates a highly distinctive sonic language rarely heard within experimental rock. The album also contains a new interpretation of an old traditional joik from guitarist/singer/joiker Viktor Bomstad’s childhood home, Ivgorášša.
The three earlier albums released by the band "Eroto Comatose Lucidity (FBR 2019) and "Your Bliss My Joy" (Rune Grammofon, 2021) & "Death Grip" (Nice Things Records, 2024) has also attracted a lot of attention, and the band has slowly gained a reputation for its energetic, improvisatory, genre- and mind bending concerts on the european experimental rock scene.

Sex Magick Wizards is a Norwegian-Sámi quartet blending psychedelic rock, free improvisation and joik into hypnotic, ritualistic soundscapes. For years they have stormed Europe’s underground and experimental music scenes, earning acclaim for intense and unpredictable live performances.
The double album "Suola ja Noaidi" (The Thief and the Shaman) draws on themes of colonisation, weaponised religion and Sámi resilience. Working from this cultural material, Sex Magick Wizards have created a double album combining traditional joik elements with their signature experimental rock sound and freeform avant-garde improvisation. By combining fragments of Northern Sámi from the original poem with new lyrics in both English and Northern Sámi and focusing more heavily on vocals, the band creates a highly distinctive sonic language rarely heard within experimental rock. The album also contains a new interpretation of an old traditional joik from guitarist/singer/joiker Viktor Bomstad’s childhood home, Ivgorášša.
The three earlier albums released by the band "Eroto Comatose Lucidity (FBR 2019) and "Your Bliss My Joy" (Rune Grammofon, 2021) & "Death Grip" (Nice Things Records, 2024) has also attracted a lot of attention, and the band has slowly gained a reputation for its energetic, improvisatory, genre- and mind bending concerts on the european experimental rock scene.
