Yesterday as I was playing around with my Stylophone CPM DS-2 I was trying to give it some kind of rhythm. What I landed on had a pattern to it that I liked. For this track I left it without any effects applied at first, so for the first bit it is purely the CPM DS-2 drone synth.
As I listened to it I started to hear something that I liked and sounded familiar. I realized that I may have accidentally created The White Stripes song Seven Nation Army. At least that is what it sounded like to me.
Does anybody else hear what I’m talking about?

My last couple of releases have been from single session improv jams. Just setting stuff up and seeing what happens to then release the unedited results. I also like taking a picture of the setup and using that as the album art. I think I will keep doing that for these improvised pieces.
