  1. This year I'm trying something new. I'm planting our potatoes in grow bags instead of in the ground. This should save me from the hilling I would need to do and give me more space in my garden. As I get older I continue to try things that don't make my body scream.

  11. Aging is an opportunity for growth, not a decline. Each decade requires a unique approach. Learn how aging well is easier than you think.

  12. Good morning tooters. I slept in until 7.15am which is quite a bit of extra sleep for me. It was very cold this morning too. Dipped below zero, the grass was crunchy & so was the water in the birdbath 😁 - lovely. It’s around 6-7c now & is another sunny day & getting to nice warm 18c.
I actually woke quite groggy & my vision blurry from too much sleep. It happens sometimes as I have dry eyes. I just have to wait until it clears & use eye drops to aid it. It’s still a little blurry now, but a lot better than it was. Another joy of aging but at least it doesn’t hurt, just annoying.
Once I’m showered I’m going to do an exercise class, I just haven’t decided on my choice yet, but I’m leaning towards core work. If nothing else, this week has reinforced the importance of staying as fit & healthy as I can for as long as I can. Plus it’s great for my mental health & a fabulous outlet for me & keeps me capable of doing things for myself for longer.
I’m going to really enjoy my at home day, I hope everyone else enjoys their #Sunday whatever you’re doing. Have a great day people. #Weather #Exercise #Health #AgingWell #LivingWell
