Granddaughter birthday present shopping successfully completed. I remember soon to be Miss 9 telling her Mum once that she loves grandmas presents because they are wrapped in paper, look interesting & never have just one thing inside 😂🤣. I’ve remembered though & always add small extras. She’s done well this year, I found a Lego pot plant set, two funny faced pots to make with flowering plants in them & bonus - on special & as I was walking to the checkout I noticed a tiny motorised mouse in a clearance area. Granddaughter & I both love miniatures, so I picked that up as well along with the requested squishy thing that looks like a cupcake. I think she’ll be happy. #PresentShopping #Granddaughter

Good morning Masto mates. Had a good long sleep, nearly 8hrs, not a solid sleep though as my upper arms were aching every time I rolled over. They feel ok now, but they have had a bit of a workout 🏊🏼‍♀️ in the pool this week. I will need to bring it up with the doctor I guess when I visit sometime next month, just in case he wants to check it out as it has been going on for quite a while now & never totally disappearing. I hate the whole “well you are getting older you know” - as if I’m not aware 🙄 of that particular fact!
I went out & watered the garden when I got up, refresh everything & now there are grey skies, not sure if rain is coming today, but tomorrow there will be some.
I will be going out shopping this morning for a birthday gift for Miss 8 who is turning 9 tomorrow. It’s taken all week to find out what she would like & it is surprisingly simple - a squishie 🤷🏼‍♀️. I did a little research yesterday afternoon to discover what this was, it’s a sensory toy thingy. I intend to buy her a book to go with it I think. She reads a few years ahead of her age, but I need to make sure it is age appropriate for her as well.
