Over the past couple of days I've been quietly working on and adding support for a new device (OVERMAX Touch 2.6) to Gadgetbridge... and today I've seen the first tangible results! :ablobfoxbongohyper:
I waited a bit to post anything about it as I wasn't sure if I'd even be able to do it (it is my first BTLE RE project!) but while there's still stuff to be done, I've got to a point where I'm rather confident I can at least reach some basic level of support :neofox_cofe:
The watch itself isn't exactly a popular model iirc, but its companion app is not even available on the Play Store anymore (and it's rather sketchy too if you ask me) so having it supported on @gadgetbridge is already a big plus due to that!
(Btw that's my SO's smartwatch, in fact that's what made me start this project to begin with... and doing something that will help them is more than enough of a reason for me to keep going! :neofox_blep: )

anyone else experiencing the same bug as me? i updated Fennec #fdroid to version 142 on my phone and it exhibits this strange behaviour where if i opened the app and typed anything into the address bar (a search query, a website), it just wouldn't load. even though i know i'm properly connected to the internet, the progress bar will get stuck on like 25% or so. doesn't matter if i switched tabs or opened new ones, they will all get stuck.
but! if i say, summoned Fennec through a link from an external app (Google app search, a link in Discord), it'll only get stuck like that for a little before just proceeding to open the page like usual. no clueless waiting, no drama. and all the other tabs would work too... until i closed the app. opening it fresh again throws me back at square one with the mysterious, endless loading of... something??

Looking for #recommendations for an #Android #alarmClock app that can do the following things:
- weekly recurring alarms on specified days
- do both vibrate-only and vibrate+sound alarms, independent of DND settings
- have labels for each alarm
- option for simple math confirmation on stopping an alarm
- snooze option in multiple durations
all of these are features of #SleepAsAndroid that I use frequently, but now for the features that I'm missing:
- ability to group alarms so I can apply the following to all in the group with a single action instead of individually:
- toggle on/off
- skip next
- adjust days the group applies on
- offset all alarms in the group for just the next day (e.g., all alarms in the group should go off an hour earlier, but just once for the next alarm occurrence)

Решила опубликовать приложение "Тюнер тела" (BodyTune).
Простое приложение для android для мониторинга веса (и других измерений). Вот что оно делает: вы вводите свой рост, текущий вес и вес, к которому стремитесь, - приложение его отображает на графике:
зелёным —> значит, вы движетесь к цели, красным — нет.
Дополнительно вы можете сохранять измерения груди, талии, бедра и бицепса (показатели отображаются на отдельных графиках).
Любую запись можно отредактировать.
Можно экспортировать / импортировать историю измерений в файл в формате CSV (например для переноса между устройствами).
Поддерживает русский и английский языки (выбирается в зависимости от языка системы), тёмную и светлую темы.
Для работы не требуется никаких разрешений.
Не требуется доступ в интернет.

#PSA: the #QUIK #SMS [app] has been updated, and it's way better than before.
I used to have problems with it because the pictures it sent via #MMS were of far poorer quality than the other programs I tried (including the #AOSP default Messaging app), but they seem to have fixed that.
They also have added a nice big button to trigger your phone's native dictation service (you can turn that off if you don't want it, or don't have one).
It has successfully replaced the proprietary SMS program I was using before, which makes me quite glad.
