La del Nova Launcher es una despedida de las que duelen: no solo era uno de los mejores y más personalizables «escritorios» para Android sino que es una historia que comienza a hacerse familiar en el entorno de las apps históricas de Android.

Temo el día en que llegue la noticia de que Action Launcher sigue sus pasos, pues está en una situación similar de bajísima frecuencia de actualización y es un lanzador con unas características muy especiales que, en el caso de desaparecer, me harían cambiar (a peor) muchas de las rutinas que tengo asociadas al móvil desde hace una década.

La aplicación seguirá disponible en la tienda a corto plazo, pero es inevitable que tarde o temprano sea incompatible o con nuestra versión del Sistema o simplemente Google la elimine por no actualizarse. Tocará buscar una alternativa que satisfaga la sed de personalización de los usuarios.

It consists of 16 capacitors, 3600uf @ 350vdc each. 8 each are wired in parallel to form two banks, which are then wired in series, giving 700v. Then two of those in series for 1400v (~3.5kJ). An SCR triggers discharge into a pancake coil, and a large diode prevents back-emf from killing the SCR.

In this demo, you see what happens with just 44vdc...now imagine a full 1400vdc... And then imagine my larger 24kJ bank.....
