    As I have spent the weekend at home, as I was not too well, today I took my Bambolina (Panasonic Lumix S1IIE) the Lumix 24-105MM and went for some hunting for beauty in my workplace neighbourhood. Well, the more I filter ugly stuff, the more intresting details come out 🤩📸. This is why I love photography: it is a mental exercise 🤭🤭🤭📸🪷💐.

    On the right: the other bagel half 😄 with Barker's Pineapple & Habanero Relish, tomato, tajín spice, jalapeño slices and cornichon... The relish worked really well with the tomato.

Today, I made some country bread bruschettas… I sautéed a mix of carrots, yellow onion, three-cornered leek, Swiss chard, and forage kale… I sliced the bread, brushed each piece with a little mayonnaise, and topped them with the vegetable medley… I added some thinly sliced red onion with oregano, then a bit of Emmental cheese and some olives, and—boom!—straight into the oven… It wasn't half bad.

  16. Smoked mackerel on dark rye sourdough, with horseradish and homemade quick pickle onions for lunch today!

    Didn't think I'd like this particular sourdough from Aldi as I'm not usually a fan of dark rye, but I'm glad we gave it a try as it's really nice, and went perfect with the mackerel.
