Yesterday, before Zurich, I photographed the Lugano train station early in the morning... few people around, otherwise now and then empty... amazing for taking photos 🤩🤩📸📸. So, I tried a futuristic atmosphere... in post production I have used a low HDR.

Backlight Cranes: attempt nr. 1
You want to get a shot of a nice lovely village, landscape, city and just that one awesome shot is disrupted by cranes!!! 😆 How many times I got annoyed, because the nice shot would have become ...not as good! So, rather than being annoyed with cranes every other day, why not photographing them?!?! Make them be the metallic VIP photo element. Here's my 1st attempt 🤭 .

This is a leased #Stadler #SMILE High Speed Train, like the ones in service for #SBB🇨🇭Gotthard Base Tunnel #Giruno workings from #Zurich or #Basel to #Lugano, #Milan and beyond. On the new-built #Koralmbahn line we reach a top speed of 250kph.

So I missed my train connection due to some slight delay and got in an extra cathedral and SURPRISE!!! my former colleague Vanessa, now president at Trinity College!!! Also, found a plague votive panels with saints Sebastian and Roche from 1485.
Hard to be mad about the complications when they have happy outcomes!

Lunch break: A hot summer walk (part 1)
As I have spent the weekend at home, as I was not too well, today I took my Bambolina (Panasonic Lumix S1IIE) the Lumix 24-105MM and went for some hunting for beauty in my workplace neighbourhood. Well, the more I filter ugly stuff, the more intresting details come out 🤩📸. This is why I love photography: it is a mental exercise 🤭🤭🤭📸🪷💐.
