  3. Fun #kitchenhack: Buy chalk markers to put dates & witticisms on leftovers. Sure it smudges a bit - but it cleans off pretty well for next time. WAY easier than grease pencil!

    There's also calendars you can mark up - if that's you.

    The refrigerator might not be the best place to draw a lot - there is a bit of a residual image, & chalk could get on passersby.

    Tonight it was spaghetti & meatballs (w/tomato sauce), fresh garlic bread, and a nice Italian merlot.

    I've discovered that sauce flavors continue to mature, even while frozen.

    A couple days ago I reheated a pork chop with a white wine, mushroom, and onion sauce. It was spectacular, much better than it was fresh from the pan.
