Have been looking at getting a summer #cabin, perhaps good enough to work remotely three seasons, for a few years.

The sad truth is, the #boomers bought the nice places in the 60/70:s, and those are not reaching the market, but are inherited.

What does reach the market is mosquito-infested, moldy masonite hovels surrounded by thick fir woods miles from any water.

Only exceptions are places where the #boomer kids can't get along _at all_ and sell - and then priced higher than my #Stockholm home.

I was at the time lobbying Sun to add 8-bit character set support to the firmware, but they wanted to hold out for a 16-bit system, like the as yet unnamed Unicode. There was eventually an interim solution but my memory of that is a bit foggy.

I'm some kind of a #geek and enjoy #FOSS, my main OS has been #LinuxMint for 5 years now, and I have an old laptop for distrohopping, currently using #Manjaro and #Debian. My secondary OS is #macOS.
