#DoorDash has come out in vocal support of H.R. 9720, a blatant attack on communities in Washington DC. This legislation would strip away basic power from DC’s local elected government. DoorDash is pushing for it because they don’t want to pay a 20-cent fee for food access programs for low-income families. All those things are not okay with us.

I looked at #doordash to possibly get a double order of chicken nuggets and fries from #mcdonald's ok so the price for the order not horrible as I have not been in years, $20 for 40 nuggets and 4 medium fries, which would give me dinner tonight and lunch tomorrow, ok, but go to checkout between the lowest tip and their fees all of a sudden $35, first I actually do not have the $20 for the food, but then $12 to get #fastfood delivered, ouch, now if that 100% goes directly to the driver I could nearly justify that, but as a #disabled man existing in #poverty, I can't justify any of it nor can I actually afford it, so it is a 15oz can of ravioli for dinner instead;
