  2. The Filter Work

Every time ChatGPT doesn't describe violence, someone read it so everyone else wouldn't have to.

Since 2021, OpenAI, Meta, and TikTok have had Kenyan workers label the internet's darkest content. Pay: often under $2/hour. One worker reported recurring flashbacks after a single passage.

    >"Delivery workers are often the first to notice problems in a neighborhood," said Yang Yang, a local Party official in Songnan. "They know which corridor light isn't working, where a fire lane has been obstructed, and what needs fixing, long before anyone else does."

    Why?

Today I went down the Wikipedia rabbit hole of fulling and associated cloth finishing processes, and I learned about the gigging, and the gig-mill, which used dried teasel flowers to raise the nap of fulled cloth. Teasels were apparently preferred by some even after mechanical alternatives were developed.

So, those who do "gigging" to make a living, heading back to the gig-mill every day, it's a linguistic connection but also provides a distinct graphic image perfect for iconography!
