It didn't seem that way when everyone was protesting during the COVID lockdown. You don't want to live out your entire life indoors. What should they? At the very least, they should have that option.
Of course, this is a best-case scenario. Living indoors is still better than being caged up in an overpopulated animal shelter... Meanwhile, the super-rich are free as a bird on their luxury yachts. Sheesh!

AI defenders and apologists need to understand that this isn't about AI. It's about greedy tech bros and shitty corporations that want to cut costs.
If a video game or movie made with AI is FREE, then I have no qualms with it. But you can't lay off hundreds of thousands of people, not pay any taxes, have Claude or ChatGPT do all the work, and then ask players to pay actual money for your crappy product.
