My home server has been compromised for the past three days. A cron job has been running the #XMRig #cryptominer disguised as Plex Media Server.
I deleted #Plex, but it kept running and using all my CPU cores. I ChatGPT'd the solution and took care of it. The system is offline now, and scans are running, but I might reinstall the OS. I hope none of my data got corrupted.
This was the first time something like this happened to me.
Before trying and burning my time: #CoMaps currently allows only routing from-to with adding stops. This is never how I want to plan. I want to start somewhere and keep adding stops.
My proposal would be to:
- After user selects “route from”
- An option “add stop” appears and new point is added to the end of the route
- If the user ever chose “route to” then “add stop” adds point in the middle of the route
Questions:
- Could this be accepted?
- Does this community accept LLM based solutions?

The latest "AI" frontier models do NOT generate #accessible web pages.
They will not automate #accessibility testing, cannot take the role of a manual tester, will not magically fix all #accessibility issues on your website and cannot catch accessibility issues for you no matter how strictly you frown at them. What they will do is give you dramatically verbose, overengineered solutions to problems that don't actually exist.
I just tested this today. You still need a human in the loop who knows what they're doing. i'm one of those, happy to help if you pay me tokens. And by tokens I mean fair wages.
Don't get me wrong, I do use #AI for my own projects at times. They just really aren't good at this.

Google Anti Gravity
Okay, I have been struggling with an issue with Gnome 50 for about a year now. The issue was that when I right clicked an App Icon on the App Grid and tried to pin it to the Dash there was a long delay, sometimes as long as 3 seconds. The same thing just moving around App Icons on the Dash or unpinning them. This was, as you can imagine, really annoying.
Today, I installed Google's Anti Gravity and after setting it up I started having Gemini analyze the issue. I was able to work out a solution in around 30 minutes! After trying to comb through the Gnome Shell code base for over a year. I had totally missed the issue. By consolidating all of my App Icons into about a dozen Folders I had created a bottle neck for Gnome Shell. It was actually and easy work around after I found out what the issue was.
This was a hard to find bug in Gnome 50. I would have likely never found it by manually pouring through the source code. I am very happy to have my system performing up to specs now. I really do love Anti Gravity! Best new tool of the year for my toolbox!

cool we are back on the "its economically viable again". 24months ago they decided it wasnt. Im guessing they looked at how badly they have ignored the social services and figured was cheaper to cart folk to perth. im for rail lines but. you know a modern bullet train. not a solution that is just the Australind 2.0.
