@rohitfarmer still on Obsidian, even if not open source : as far as I know, Joplin (like Zettlr) can import references from Zotero, but there is no way (no plugin) to import annotation, comments, notes made in Zotero. It’s possible with Obsidian (plugin + note template).
My workflow includes annotations, comments, notes … in Zotero, I need to import them after that. -
I now have 110 repositories in my #GitHub account, so today I decided to clone all of them to my #doomsday #vault just in case GitHub goes away tomorrow without notice. I also set up a cron job to pull all the repositories every day at 4 am to keep them up to date. This is for backup. I will not use this location to work.

Every year, I focus on one or two outdoor activities. Last year, it was all about #paddling. This year, it will be #biking and #overlanding.
However, I have also planned two family car camping trips and one rafting trip. So much to do in so little time. Can we have a longer summer this year?

I am now using #Zensical for my #documentation website, using the same code I used for Materials for #mkdocs. I converted the mkdocs.yml to zensical.toml using #chatgpt, and I didn't like the TOML format. It looks unnecessarily complicated. So I will continue using YAML until it becomes necessary.

#ChatGPT is excellent at summarizing #research papers or converting them to simplified English. It's especially helpful for preparing for a journal club presentation, which is just a burden in academic life that you can't escape. When I leave science, I will cite torturing journal clubs as the primary reason.
Whoever came up with journal clubs must be a real-life #loser.

People oppose the use of #AI and #LLM because they don't credit or compensate creators. What are your views about the #pirated material distributed by sites like Anna's Archive, Sci Hub, etc? Piracy sites have been operating for decades, long before any AI, offering books, movies, music, software, and more illegally, harming creators. But I never saw anyone adding a "/piracy" page on their website denouncing the use of pirated material.
