Trying to downgrade an Ubuntu #qgis from 4.x to 3.x and getting 503 errors - it all works for 4.x but this fails when I apt install qgis=3.whatevers. Temporary problem?

I've been checking out #OpenGeoAI for a while now and since most of the people I work with use #QGIS, I decided to write a short overview of the tools that the OpenGeoAI plugin provides. https://www.gispo.fi/en/blog/opengeoai-geospatial-ai-made-simple/
This blog post will probably be relevant for about a week or so because OpenGeoAI is constantly expanding and improving! #OpenSourceGIS #FOSS4G

Are the flatpak flathub versions of #qgis updated or tagged correctly? I just installed the one labelled "lts" and got 3.28.9, but qgis.org says 3.44 is lts, and "stable" gets you 4.2.1.

Set up a map in #Qgis 4.2 and could not see any labels. Something odd about my OSM layer not rendering. This issue wasn't the exact root cause but the hint about hiding other layers made it work. #CloseEnough

Thanks to whoever decided to add these notes about when new features were added to #QGIS -- this is amazingly helpful context.

Does anyone know who runs https://spatialworkflow.io?
It's a QGIS tutorial site, with a huge volume of detailed content. It looks very AI generated, with many emoji and a chatty tone.
There is no about page or attribution or copyright information, either. This seems strange to me - if I'd done all that work, I'd want to take credit for it.
-
@[email protected] That sounds genuinely good. That looks like xdg-open is what's doing it. Not #QGIS itself. If #Lynx handles what's needed, that's great, if not, I don't know.

Ha ha. #QGis searching for a browser, finds #lynx after:

Ugh. Could not drag + drop the city parcel data from #QGis into #PostGIS, but at least the message helps.

🎉We did it!
Thanks to the amazing support from the #QGIS community, both the initial €6000 goal and the extended €7000 goal have been achieved.

Yesterday I've used #QGIS to overlay a campsite's own map, which shows the numbered pitches, over aerial imagery, which shows trees and shrubs and stuff.

Teaching QGIS. I haven't taught in person in a while so I'm a bit rusty. Yesterday I had the Bases "ESRI Guy" in the class. He was mad - he's been told they have to drop some ESRI licenses. At Lunch he was not having a great day. We talked. The research facility has been 100% ESRI and anything ESRI came up with in the proprietary data format they hopped on. Now it's gotta change and my best bit of advice was "stick to data standards - not software standards". #esri #qgis #training

This means that @northroadgeo can implement these tools so you can use them in QGIS 4.4🚀
📢 With 2 weeks left, we’re aiming for an extended goal of €7000 to add native flow direction & wind barb renderers for raster layers. If successful, this will be implemented by @lutraconsulting.
