Had a bit of a panic attack when I had a shower earlier. Wetting myself down and dipped my head to wet my hair when I realised I'd forgotten to take my hearing aids out.

Quickly jumped out of the shower (as best I could) and dried them. They were only under the water for less than a second and I'd be lost without them.

Luckily they seem to have survived.

If anyone saw my post about trying to drop in on my Amazon Fire TV, well I finally got it working, but the solution was totally (in my view) counter intuitive.

Seems all I had to do was unmute the built in microphone using the switch on the bottom of the TV.

Why it wouldn't allow a drop in with a muted microphone baffles me, but I guess why would you drop in with no audio?

Anyway it's working now and I'm celebrating with a bottle of Bank's Amber bitter.

Any Amazon device experts here?

I've got an Amazon Fire TV (**NOT** an Amazon Fire TV Stick). My understanding is that I can drop in to the TV and have a two way video conversation with someone who drops in.

The TV knows it has a camera plugged in, but won't use it for drop ins.

Any words of wisdom greatly appreciated.

Had a takeaway delivered last night from a burger joint I'd not heard of previously.

The burger & fries weren't as hot as they could have been, but this was probably due to the delivery guy (on a bicycle apparently) doing another drop before mine.

My main conclusion, after trying a handful of different establishments, is that a burger is a burger is a burger.

They all use 'smash patties', the extras (cheese etc.) is mostly the same. The real difference, weirdly, comes in the fries, how they're seasoned etc.

My conclusion is that I should order from my local burger place (literally yards down the road) where I'll get roughly the same as all the other vendors, and due to it's proximity, it'll arrive hotter.

I've been trying to whitelist a bunch of subnets for a while now. I've found several different variants of the rule online.

This is the latest version I've placed in REQUEST-900-EXCLUSION-RULES-BEFORE-CRS.conf, but none of the other variants I've found work either.

Asked for a latte and the girl said she'd bring it to my table. When it arrived it was in a mug-like thing with NO handle??!! Not sure how the girl got it to my table, but (for me at least) it was too hot to pick up

Apparently I should have asked for something with a handle, but that's the first cafe in my life I've been to that serves hot drinks in mugs without handles
