I started painting my nails as an expression of my non-binariness.
I present as very male unfortunately, though I can fem it up if I really go over board...... But I digress.
I started with gray in public, but I quickly went to black, dark violets as those are colours a male presenting person can "get away with"
I kinda settled for a dark wine burgundy (a bit like yours). My favourite was always slut red, I wore it few times, but mainly on a pinky finger with dark majority.
I recommend you find a nail salon, the experience of having your nails done is almost hypnotic.
I recommend SNS (synthetic nails layers) they last longer, I always wrecked my paintjob as I often use tools.
Enjoy you nails and fuck everyone who doesn't let you.

Hier muss ich mal unbezahlt Werbung machen. Nach einigem Herumprobieren habe ich jetzt die Lacke von Catrice für mich entdeckt. Die sind preisgünstig, sind gut aufzutragen, trocknen relativ schnell und halten lange. Und es gibt viele tolle Farben. Das Kupfer neulich war auch von denen und hat über eine Woche gehalten.

Tried out this neon orange today, super intense, almost glowing... so I chickened out halfway through and just did the thumb 😅. All nails in this color might’ve been a bit much, even for me.
The contrast with the matte black? Kinda loving it though. Might keep this “warning sign” vibe for a while.
What do you think... commit to full blaze or keep the contrast alive?
