This part of the Susitna is a precipitous droppoff to about 8' from the bank into ice cold opaque glacier water. I'm p sure you'd be cooked about two minutes into falling in.

Dang y'all I've done very little fishing this year. There have been a couple of big local fish kills, and the warm water near me has been particularly gross.

A friend recommended me to check out a newly accessible river near her house, which is like 60 miles from me.

I didn't realize how much I was missing my local fishing routine until I had the shoal bass in my net. Caught it on a size 12 jig made from a pheasant feather.
