The Adventure of Node
In the role-playing game "The Adventure of Node", the goal is to investigate the appearance of monsters in the local crystal mine. Still in its early stages, the demo version invites interested beta testers already to get to know the villagers, explore a labyrinth and rid the forest of a threat.
Requirements include an AGA computer with 4 MB of Fast RAM and a joystick or gamepad, preferably with two buttons.

In his answers to twenty questions, he mentions, for example, his financial support for the release of Amiga Forever and later C64 Forever as well as the realization that, in hindsight, he should not have pursued the development of the X5000 and A1222 Plus models simultaneously, as this left too few resources for the software side.

Video: Previously unknown version 2.02c of Amiga Unix has surfaced
Until now, versions 2.01 and 2.03 of Commodore's Unix port "Amiga Unix" (among others) were known. A YouTuber has now discovered version 2.02 on an A3000UX that he purchased at an auction held by the Free Software Foundation to mark its 40th anniversary.

FPGA-based Amiga clone: AmiCube with AGA support / AmiCube PiStorm 1.8
In a recent video, Ranko Rodic demonstrates that, "after many experiments, failed attempts, timing problems, and a lot of work on the memory bridge and prefetch system, the AmiCube board is now able to run AGA with all 8 bitplanes supported...."
The developer is also showcasing the latest AmiCube PiStorm 68k board, version 1.8 final.

Web browser: Amelinium 0.7.3
Paweł Nowak is continuing to work on his web browser "Amelinium" and released version 0.7.3 yesterday. Among other things, TrueType fonts can now be used as an option (and are downloaded automatically when selected), and support for CSS2.1 and CSS3 has been improved and expanded respectively.

Image and PDF converter: Image2PDF 2.10 for all Amiga systems
Bernd Assenmacher's Image2PDF is a tool for converting images to PDF and vice versa. Images can also be scaled or saved in a different format. Since version 2.8, translations have been added, the software has been updated to the new PDF plugin, a function to rotate individual images by 90 degrees clockwise or anti-clockwise has been added, and the user guide has been updated.

Retro soccer game: Update to the second demo version of Mundialito 2
The second demo version has now been updated: Among other things, players are distributed more evenly across the field to allow for smoother gameplay, passing accuracy has been improved, the AI has been adjusted and the ability to perform a diving header has been added. Additionally, the game can now be installed on the hard drive.

Pre-alpha version: Telegram client for the Amiga
An open-source Telegram client is currently under development for AmigaOS 3.x, AmigaOS 4, AROS (x86) and MorphOS. The first pre-alpha version was released yesterday and already offers limited read/write capabilities in text mode.

Mac OS: Amiga-Imager creates boot images for Amigas, Raspberry Pi and Minimig
Thomas Luebker's Amiga-Imager generates boot images on Mac OS for three different platforms: unmodified Amigas, those with a PiStorm turbo card and the MiSTer. The RDB images (in the case of the Raspberry Pi, as an SD card image with an additional FAT32 boot partition) also include the corresponding RTG and network configuration.

Shooter: Testers wanted for the new "Hydron" project
Following the shoot 'em up "NEON world", Frank Neumann (and Kevin Saunders)'s new project is the shooter "Hydron". It is designed to run on any Amiga with 1 MB of memory.
Initial groundwork has been completed and tested on various hardware configurations, e.g. Amiga 500, 1200, 4000. The testers would like to have the game tested on additional, real hardware, e.g. Amigas equipped with PiStorm.

AmigaKit: Announcement of accelerator upgrade and printer software for A1200NG
At the ZZAP! Live 2026 event, AmigaKit made two announcements for the summer regarding its emulation-based A1200NG system: First, there will be an accelerator upgrade delivering nearly 2000 MIPS, and second, AmiPrint software will be released, allowing current printers to be used directly, either locally or over a network.

File Manager: TreeExplorer 1.0
Achim Pankalla's TreeExplorer is a simple file manager for AmigaOS 3.2.3 and AmigaOS 4 that is also suitable for low resolutions, as it does not open additional windows but instead executes all actions - including deletions - immediately without prompting. The clipboard is used for copying and moving files, making these operations possible even across multiple instances of the program.

Hollywood: Remedios 1.5 now available
Version 1.5 of has Remedios been released for the Hollywood multimedia development environment. This toolkit enables the compilation of Hollywood apps into standalone iOS programs that run on iPhone, iPad, and other Apple devices.
Version 1.5 is a major update and provides full support for Hollywood 11 and Xcode 26.

Virtual desktops for the Workbench: GoVD 3.0 with ARexx support
Krzysztof Donat’s GoVD programme allows the Workbench to be used on up to eight virtual screens under AmigaOS 3.2 or later. It is possible to specify which Workbench windows and programmes should use which of the screens. Version 3.0 of GoVD now provides an ARexx interface:

Convert Amiga assembler code to C
The programmer Reinier van Vliet and the graphic designer @metin together with another partner, formed the Dutch game development group Team Hoi, writing its games in assembler.
Reinier van Vliet has developed a small toolchain that converts 68000 assembler code into portable C. The aim is to achieve CPU semantics that are sufficiently faithful to the originalto port genuine game logic. -
Platformer: Rastan demo 0.50
Rastan was released by Taito for arcade machines in 1987. Demo version 0.50 of the Amiga port, currently under development using the Scorpion Engine, is now available and, in addition to optimisations and bug fixes, offers the following new features:

The first beta version of the Amiga browser AWeb 3.6 is now available.
Further development by the "amigazen project" team is based on the latest available source code, version 3.4. The first step, version 3.6, is intended to be a stable re-release of the AWeb 3.4 functionality, based on ReAction, Roadshow (with INet225 support disabled), P96 (replacing Cybergraphics libraries that are no longer supported), AmiSSL 5 and NDK3.2.

Alexander 'Losso' Grupe created an Amiga pointer archive. It appears to be quite complete, as he comments on the update he did in an accompanying blog post titled: "I scanned a thousand disks - and all I got was four pointers."

CS-Lab has released a firmware update for its in-house 68060-based Warp accelerator boards. This is explicitly just a release candidate of version 2.025 for now; users are strongly advised to back up their operating system beforehand.
In addition to bug fixes, the new features include for example support for the Warp 7060, overheating protection and the ability to set the clock via P96 settings.

A600: Mechanical replacement keyboard "TS600"
The Irish supplier Sordan is offering the "TS600", the first batch of 200 replacement keyboards for the A600. The keyboard, which comes fully assembled with a cable ready for connection, is available in "black" or "white/gray" color options, as well as with two different switch types - red for quiet switches without an audible "click", and blue switches with tactile feedback and an audible click.

Demo scene: Playing ATARI music on Amiga for free
Arnaud Carré has developed a method for emulating the Atari ST's YM2149 sound chip on the Amiga without using the latter computer's CPU at all. In a blog featuring numerous audio examples and diagrams, he explains his approach: Three channels of the Amiga’s Paula audio chip are used to replicate the YM2149's square waves using samples.

Turn-based strategy/RPG hybrid: Ecliptic 1.0
Ecliptic is a turn-based strategy/role-playing game hybrid in which the player must rid a gigantic, heavily damaged spaceship of hostile aliens.
After three years, the finished version is now available for free or in exchange for a donation. Ecliptic requires at least AmigaOS 3.1, 2 MB of RAM, and a hard drive; an A1200 with some Fast-RAM is considered the ideal setup.

Retro soccer game: Second demo version of Mundialito 2
In the retro football game "Mundialito 2", 32 teams battle it out for the coveted trophy, with two game modes to choose from: "Classic" and "Arcade" – there are power-ups to be found on the pitch that can either boost your chances or throw a spanner in the works.

The command-line tool "ConvertMojo" converts documents from various Amiga word processors, MS Word, or PDF and RTF files into plain text, PDF, or RTF. According to the developer, the focus is on "plain text along with text formatting." Headers and footers, embedded images, or complex layouts are not always converted correctly or may even be ignored.

AmigaOS 4: graphics library VulkanOS4 1.3
"VulkanOS4" is an implementation of Vulkan, the successor to OpenGL, on AmigaOS 4, which requires various 3D technologies commercially distributed by A-EON (OpenGL ES 2.0, Warp 3D Nova, RadeonRX/RadeonHD drivers). In version 1.3, several minor issues have been resolved.

Demoparty: Edison 2026 in Sweden (July 17–19, 2026)
"Edison 2026" will take place in Stockholm from July 17 to 19. The venue is an 80-year-old former sailing ship that has been converted into a (permanently moored) event space. The event will feature various scene-typical competitions, including "Old School Demo", as well as music and graphics competitions for 8- and 16-bit systems.

Realtime classic: "Dungeon Keeper" ports for MorphOS, AmigaOS, and AROS
The open-source KeeperFX engine is a reimplementation of the real-time classic Dungeon Keeper. A few days ago, Yannick 'Papiosaur' Buchy released a MorphOS port that requires at least MorphOS 3.19.
Separately, Steffen Häuser is also working on a port: He's targetting AmigaOS 4, AmigaOS 3, and AROS.

Crowdfunding: Wings of Death - The Reworked Anthology
At the title link Volker Buckow of "The German Remix Group" is raising funds for a soundtrack anthology of the 1990 game Wings of Death.
The reworking is being done in collaboration with the original composer, Jochen Hippel, and is intended to contain the game’s complete soundtrack, including some planned but unreleased tracks.

Amiga emulator: Denise 2.8
Denise is a cycle-accurate, cross-platform emulator capable of emulating the C64 as well as the Amiga 500, 600 and 1000. New in version 2.8 are debuggers and disassemblers for the CPU, memory and custom chips, among other components, as well as support for hard drives larger than 4 GB.
Denise runs on Windows 7 and later, Linux, BSD and MacOS (Intel and ARM).
