Remembering the time I read the #MSDOS 3.21 manual to figure out why our Zenith Data Systems 286 no longer booted from the 20 MB hard disk and concluded the solution was "format c: /s"
when what I actually needed could be done with "sys c:"
(to just copy the system files over w/o wiping the entire drive)
I still blame the manual. I read the #documentation carefully and came to that conclusion after much deliberation.
My mother was remarkably understanding, in retrospect. (It was her PC.)

Holy shit, die Dinger sehen mal so richtig alt aus! Sind aber noch absolut intakte Microsoft System-Disketten mit Windows/286 2.11 aus dem Jahr 1989. Insgesamt 4 x 1.200K HD-Disketten im 5 1/4 Zoll Format. :computerfairies:
Ganz nebenbei ist das nun auch mein 500. Upload im Internet Archive. Viel Spaß damit! 😎
