Remember XTree on DOS? Ytree v3.0.0-alpha brings that workflow to Linux terminals. An AI-assisted rewrite of v2.10. Already usable, but still alpha, so rough edges are expected. https://github.com/robkam/ytree #xtree #ytree #tui #terminal #filemanager #foss

The CD-ROM icon in Windows 3.1's file manager does look a bit ... "odd"... when you spent too much time in "Windows for Workgroups". 😉

Any folks around use #Yazi terminal file manager? I'm struggling to figure this out. I have neovim set as my default text editor and that works fine. I have meh configured as my image viewer. For CSV files, I'd like to add an entry for LibreOffice to the Open With menu, but I can't seem to get it. I can add the following prepend rule and it will open csv files with LibreOffice by default, is there a way to just add it to the Open With menu?

I just discovered the rabbit hole of terminal file manager. (For now) I‘m using yazi (https://yazi-rs.github.io).
It has a nice look, is easy to configure and is useable with vim-like and shell commands. Which terminal file manager do you use and why? -
@chakuari No sorry, I am not using #vifm. Currently I am trying out #yazi as a #cli #filemanager

Not sure when it happened, but opening a finder window today felt kinda unfamiliar, as I transitioned to shell, nerdtree and vifm, full time. Strange Realisation.
