The #irony is that all these complaints have been voiced by other people for years. I did see some of those complaints already before I started building, but I found the concept compelling enough to try it anyway. If you are an #artist, #inventor or #entrepeneur, you may recognize the adage "don't listen to the naysayers". I still think that adage is correct, but in this case, the naysayers turned out to be right. When doing #creative work, it is better to learn a hard lesson than to discard a good #idea. By having tried something that didn't work, I now much better understand what might work.

Rather than scrambling to fulfill the needs of the 5% Big Accounts, while harming or neglecting the 95% Small Accounts, I will only build a feature if it benefits an important group, but never if there's a risk to harm a similar sized group. If ten users need X, 200 don't need it, but another ten might be harmed by X, it's easy to say No. #entrepeneur

The best thing about telling corporate America to figure it out themselves and going off on my own as a creative mercenary... is that I only have to take jobs I want to take.

You see, the thing is - if you consistently produce stellar content - work will find you whether you want it or not.

Best yet when pressed for a reason or example they basically said "Well he has #entrepeneur as a hash tag on his profile, isnt that proof enough!" and everyone was like "umm, no, it kinda isnt" and we all laughed :)

long story short, I am now "STEM Lord" though you can call me "Sir. STEM" if you wish. (their insult for me I guess, I dunno I like it!)
