Going insomniac and flipping my sleep is how I beat the withdrawal stage of relapse.

I try to sleep early. I lay tense. A war in the back of my head. The light wasn’t strong enough, spiritually attacked.

I sleep, wake, relapsed that morning.
Stay up till 6 or 7 a.m. until fatigue forces crash. No chance of relapse then. Meditations turn psychedelic. Looks unproductive. It’s a spiritual war.

I sold my DSLR camera long time ago.

Luggage-wise it was a smart thing to do, there was no space on the back of the motorcycle for the gear.

I only take #phonephotos now.

I miss it. I miss hiding behind the lens to capture moments, people, stories.

Having a camera makes you look at the world with different eyes. And I am beginning to lose that gift.

But life is also about choices.
