My gestalt therapist asked what I do for play and told me to stay playful.
In Phnom Penh the staff keep deflecting me and sending me on wild goose chases for a place to work that doesn’t exist.So I went upstairs, smiled, and started rearranging the big furniture myself.
They just stood there thinking “what the hell, this isn’t the script.” -

Going insomniac and flipping my sleep is how I beat the withdrawal stage of relapse.
I try to sleep early. I lay tense. A war in the back of my head. The light wasn’t strong enough, spiritually attacked.
I sleep, wake, relapsed that morning.
Stay up till 6 or 7 a.m. until fatigue forces crash. No chance of relapse then. Meditations turn psychedelic. Looks unproductive. It’s a spiritual war. -

Spent half the night at the hospital with my little girl. 💔 Temp showed 37.7°C, though she felt like she had a strong fever. They gave her meds to bring it down and we’re back home.
Big bill after big bill — the last one was the breaking point, we didn’t pay it and left.

From Windhoek to Livingstone — across Namibia, through the Caprivi Strip, into Botswana, and finally Zambia.
A long journey on an Intercape double-decker, crossing 4 border posts, switching to a shuttle in Katima, and even passing through Chobe National Park where a group of elephants crossed the road right in front of us 🐘
After everything that happened in Windhoek, this trip felt different. Losing my phone and all my photos still hurts — but I’m grateful I made it safely.
Now it’s time to slow down, rest, and get things sorted again.

Swimming pool day with a view of Mount Kilimanjaro 🗻
The view? Absolutely unreal.The place itself… not so much. Poorly maintained, no lockers, messy changing rooms, dirty showers with zero privacy and nowhere to put your stuff. Same for the toilets — very open, very social, and definitely not clean. Hard pass.
I had to use the shower anyway. Entrance fee: 7,000 TZS.
The pool looks old and a bit like it’s falling apart, but the weather was great and that Kilimanjaro view fixed a lot. Not everything — but enough.
