40 years ago today, May 3, 1986, Dolly Parton debuted at #67 on Billboard’s Hot Country Singles chart with “Tie Our Love (In a Double Knot)”. It went on to peak at #17 and spent a total of 15 weeks on the chart.

One of her fastest tempo songs of her career! I was glad RCA decided to release it as the 4th single from the 1985 album, “Real Love”.
