  14. In the business world tools get "popular" & wide-spread once industrial consulting firms like McKinsey embrace them and swing their armies of consulting clones and PR spin doctors behind them.

    That's how obvious crap like industrialized #Agile, #SpotifyModel or #OKRs rose to fame.

    Would McKinsey & Co. be able to do this alone?
    No. They are supported by the willing masses:
    Opportunistic "thought leaders", certifiers, learning tool suppliers, software firms, small consulting firms and individual "coaches"/trainers/consultants.

    It is an unholy alliance.
