La psychanalyse du feu

Les axes de la poésie et de la science sont d’abord inverses. Tout ce que peut espérer la philosophie, c’est de rendre la poésie et la science complémentaires, de les unir comme deux contraires bien faits. Il faut donc opposer à l’esprit poétique expansif, l’esprit scientifique taciturne pour lequel l’antipathie préalable est une saine précaution.

Ce que nous croyons nos pensées fondamentales sur le monde sont souvent des confidences sur la jeunesse de notre esprit.

Quand j’étais malade, mon père faisait du feu dans ma chambre. Il apportait un très grand soin à dresser les bûches sur le petit bois, à glisser entre les chenets la poignée de copeaux. Manquer un feu eût été une insigne sottise. Je n’imaginais pas que mon père pût avoir d’égal dans cette fonction qu’il ne déléguait jamais à personne. En fait, je ne crois pas avoir allumé un feu avant l’âge de dix-huit ans. C’est seulement quand je vécus dans la solitude que je fus le maître de ma cheminée. Mais l’art de tisonner que j’avais appris de mon père m’est resté comme une vanité. J’aimerais mieux, je crois, manquer une leçon de philosophie que manquer mon feu du matin.

Le feu enfermé dans le foyer fut sans doute pour l’homme le premier sujet de rêverie, le symbole du repos, l’invitation au repos.

Par le feu tout change. Quand on veut que tout change on appelle le feu. Le premier phénomène, c’est non seulement le phénomène du feu contemplé, en une heure oisive, dans sa vie et dans son éclat, c’est le phénomène par le feu. Le phénomène par le feu est le plus sensible de tous ; c’est celui qu’il faut le mieux surveiller ; il faut l’activer ou le ralentir ; il faut saisir le point de feu qui marque une substance comme l’instant d’amour qui marque une existence.

Si le feu est aussi captieux, aussi ambigu, on devrait commencer toute psychanalyse de la connaissance objective par une psychanalyse des intuitions du feu.

Would anyone happen to know if there’s a #FOSS alternative to #Partiful? Some tool that allows for #party and/or #event #planning that, most importantly for my age demographic, supports SMS as a link-sharing tool. I looked at #mobilizon, but it seems they only support email notification (besides Fedi, naturally.)
