Höre gerade.
Ab Freitag Mittag wird der (ausgezeichnete) Musiksender #ByteFM in Berlin auf #UKW senden (88.4 MHz glaub ich), während "mein" Sender Alex Berlin, das Berliner #Bürgerradio (neben vielen anderen Bürgerradios) auf #DAB+ verbannt wird.
ByteFM zahlen sogar dafür - u.a. von meinem Supportbeitrag - gerne.
Wird also gar nicht mal so viel sein (!).

Inhaltlich sicherlich nicht der schlechteste "Tausch" (gibt keinen echten Zusammenhang), aber demokratiepolitisch m.E. ein absolutes Desaster.

Die Bürger stören nur, weg mit denen aus dem UKW Spektrum.
Und was ist eigentlich mit dieser "UKW wird abgeschaltet, DAB+ für alle"-Offensive? Das war doch für ??2024?? gedacht, oder? Was ist jetzt damit?

Es ist so wichtig, dass vor den richtigen Leuten, zu einem im Mittelpunkt der Aufmerksamkeit stehenden Anlass, sehr klar, sehr sachlich, sehr deutlich aufgezeigt wird, welche schiere Menge an Dingen in Sachen #ePA (elektronische Patientenakte) schief läuft. Und nicht nur (aber vor allem) beim #Datenschutz.

Those "Yeah, #A1200 remake incoming" reviews in renowned tech magazines - all mention a good collection of games that will be included and then mentioning the Turrican Trilogy, Ruff 'n' Tumble or Defender of the Crown. I'm talking about well known tech portals here (German Language: Heise, Golem, Der Standard; international: Toms Hardware) and of course various gaming portals.

Yet, besides the "expertise" one would expect, no one mentions that those are native Amiga 500 (or A1000 with a RAM upgrade... let's say OCS/ECS systems) games. No A1200 needed, no special features of the 7 years younger (!) machine is touched. Yes they run totally well at the younger hardware; yes - those are good or good looking or both of it games - but no A1200 games.
And honestly, there aren't much A1200 "killer" games out there that stood the test of time.

Still. It's like selling a Gameboy Advance Remake and bundling this with Original Gameboy Games with 4 shades of yellowish green like Tetris or the original Pokemon Blue.
The GBA can do so much more! But the reviews would go like: Cool games like Tetris and Pokemon Blue are part of the bundle! Yeah!!

I seriously wonder, who will buy this. People who really and desperately want to play Amiga games have an emulator on their laptop (or hacked game console or PC or raspberry or China portable), an FPGA based system (MISTer) or the original hardware - the best option of all.

If the remake would be FPGA based, that would be interesting, but it isn't. Why the hell would I buy this thing then, that looks like an A1200 but isn't, while I can have it's functionality at any electrified potato?
And less fiddly, when it comes to side loading other games?

Sure, people will buy it anyway, but seriously - their reasoning (besides being not firm with computer stuff - but what Amiga freak is?!) is very beyond me.

Seit 1989 interessiere ich mich für die Band. Nirgends was gefunden für lange lange Zeit.
Jetzt hab ich zugeschlagen!!

Der schwarze Kanal

aus Hamburg hat dieses Album 1988 rausgebracht. 2 Jahre später werden die beiden Mitglieder Andre Rattay und Eike Bohlken zusammen mit Jochen Distelmeyer die Band #Blumfeld gründen. Wusste ich auch lange nicht.
Aber der schwarze Kanal klang ganz anders. Irgendwie dunkel golden in der Grundstimmung - ist schwer, das anders zu beschreiben ;) Großartige Musik, wie geschaffen für den kommenden Herbst!

Why? What is this?

#Radio Irrtum! is a German language (usually) #radioShow exploring the sonic vastness of the #underground. Emitted transmissions may raise attention for new unheard #music all over this planet's genre spectrum. Don't worry about that German language - it's about the music!

Well about the latter… not this time! Neither will I talk in German the whole time but mostly in English! Because this matter is too important for the World to know (I think). Nor is this new music. But music mostly from 1979-1981, the small time frame before the "real" Neue Deutsche Welle ("NDW") broke all over, the thing the music industry transformed it into (a cash cow), something completely different compared to what its pioneers intended.

This is about those pioneers. Sick of art, or progressive rock, and punk they wanted to do something completely off limits, something completely new, something "Anti music" that still somehow was "music". Just so different. A one in a thousand years moment where people tried to get on a different track. A moment that didn't come back since.
This radio special can only cover the surface of that super diverse scene; a scene agreeing on one thing only: About not doing rock music.
Which will make this special issue maybe the most complicated, hard to get into Radio Irrtum! show ever. But if you make it, you will be rewarded, yes rewarded, with most unusual concepts in music, with humor in music (yes! - not just in text) and all in all something, you may carry with you for your whole life. If you are open to it. I mean it. I certainly did.

So: Can you stand it? Are you up to the task?

One more thing: I've prerecorded this not knowing, that Alfred Hilsberg (Zickzack Label) would leave this planet forever some days later. This show is dedicated to him. Thanks Alfred, for the sonic light you carried.

Warum? Was ist das?

#RadioIrrtum! ist eine #Radiosendung, die die klanglichen Weiten des #Undergrounds erkundet. Die ausgestrahlten Wellen lenken Eure Aufmerksamkeit auf neue, ungehörte #Musik (normaler Weise), und decken dabei ein unglaublich großes Spektrum an Genres ab.

Dieses Mal ausnahmsweise in großen Teilen in (einfacher!) englischer Sprache – damit die ganze Welt davon erfahren kann. Es geht natürlich diesmal nicht um neue Musik. Sondern um Musik hauptsächlich aus den Jahren 1979–1981, dieser kurzen wilden Zeitspanne, bevor die „echte“ Neue Deutsche Welle („NDW“) überall durchbrach. Also, das, wozu die Musikindustrie sie machte (ein gewinnorientiertes kommerzielles Etwas) – nämlich zu etwas ganz Anderem als das, was ihre Pioniere beabsichtigten.

Und genau um diese Pioniere soll es gehen. Sie hatten genug von Kunst, Progressive Rock und Punk und wollten etwas völlig Außergewöhnliches machen, etwas völlig Neues: „Anti-Musik“, die trotzdem irgendwie „Musik“ war. Ein Moment, den es nur einmal in tausend Jahren gibt, in dem die Leute versuchten, einen anderen Weg einzuschlagen. Ein Moment, der seitdem nicht wiederkehrte.

Dieses Radiospezial kann nur einen Teil dieser extrem vielfältigen Szene abdecken; einer Szene, die sich nur in einem einig ist: Unter keinen Umständen Rockmusik zu machen.

Damit ist diese Sonderausgabe vielleicht die komplizierteste und am schwersten zugängliche Radio-Irrtum!-Sendung aller Zeiten. Aber wenn ihr Euch traut, werdet ihr belohnt mit höchst ungewöhnlichen Konzepten in der Musik, mit Humor in der Musik (ja! – nicht nur im Text) und insgesamt etwas, das euch vielleicht ein Leben lang begleiten kann. Wenn ihr dafür offen seid. Bei mir ist das jedenfalls so.

No, not the ones who upload like 5s song fragments or even NO SONG AT ALL, but those who claim "DMCA TAKEDOWN!" for certain songs even if there is no music AT ALL in that video.
Yes, no music at all. Let that sink in.

As a video uploader you have no chance to counter the claim but as claiming party, you do not have to prove anything! Just say "copyright infringement" and boom - all the money that was made with that poor uploader's video goes to you instead.

It is a scandal, seriously. And this bXllshXt is known for AGES. And no one cares. One more reason to go away from YT - but easier said then done, if you wanna make a living from your videos. Like Music Mongoose, an ex BBC music journalist, an excellent one btw.

Releasing a good looking, well playable #Wolfenstein 3D clone on the VANILLA C64 homecomputer from 1982.
This makes games people thought to be amazing like Quake, Half Life 2, the Metro games and what not just look silly from a technical point of view.

Computer #programming probably cannot get more optimized, more insane, more better than this. Ever again.
Because the control panels of your washing machine or your kitchen stove are pretty sure about magnitudes faster and more capable for this than a bloody 8bit C64 with its 0.98 MHz [PAL] clock..
