One of the reasons I quit #Mirlo is that you can’t include bonus tracks to your albums like in Bandcamp : tracks that don’t appear in the tracklist but are included in the download when someone buys an album. I use this feature quite a lot on Bandcamp.

Are there any plans to add it to Mirlo in the future?

Hello everyone - I have a new track out called "In Confidence May Bind". The words come from the original poem of "Mary Had a Little Lamb". The poem itself is as much about trust as anything else - sadly a quantity in short supply amongst the rich and powerful.

Nursery rhymes are, at least for me, the stuff of nightmares..... creepy at best.

@fairplayer If I open an artist's release page on #Faircamp, #Mirlo or #Bandcamp, there is usually textual information at the bottom of the page: liner notes, recording dates, musician names, etc. — whatever the artist chose to add.

When I look at the same release page aggregated on #Fairplayer, I just see the tracklist and nothing below it. Is there any plan to add liner notes to FairPlayer in the future?

It’s worth noting that the #fairplayer and #mirlo integration isn’t a one-off thing between the two platforms - it’s the first large-scale test of the Canimus protocol! My attempt to make dark skewered vocal pop music from a few years back (also my final-year project!) is now up on @mirlo, complete with lyrics, instrumentals, demos and even the feedback I got from the university.

Whew. Revisiting this album, I'm disturbed as to where exactly some of the lyrical content came from, but then it was a brain in a jar that wrote it, not me...

Still checking out mirlo.space, a site for publishing and selling music for musicians.
The difference to most other services like this (think of bandcamp, spotify, soundcloud etc.) is: Mirlo is not profit-driven. I really appreciate this approach, but it relies on enthusiasm. So if you publish your own music, consider doing it also on mirlo.
