I've got lots of electronic or sample based music within the last issues, a bit too much perhaps. So this time we'll have a cut: 50% will be electronic/sample based mostly - but the other half is completely handmade, with a surprising lot of pure dooooomy metal, 🤟 yes!
All that with lots of #CreativeCommons content, cuz music wants 2b free. Also many tracks played aren't on #Spotify - cannot bash 'em enough. And most important: We've got outstanding #FediArtists in it, like @[email protected], @[email protected] or @[email protected] . Very tentative inquiry of artists or illustrators.
I'm wondering about commissioning someone to draw an illustration and possibly also something closer to a logo, on a concept/slogan/aphorism I have been thinking about. It would have multiple elements and lettering, So sort of like poster design.
The goal is to make a slightly awkward concept more comprehensible. I don't want to say the concept/slogan publicly just yet.
It might need a fairly clear style without much small detail that would still work at smallish image sizes.
It would probably require at least 4 or 5 rough sketches with feedback from me before committing to a layout and final composition.
I'd like to hear from anyone who does this sort of work, with any info I might need to know, and of course an idea of what sort of payment would be reasonable.

Hello music makers. I am looking for some fedi musician, who used to call himself "Bela Lugosis dad". Does anyone know about his whereabouts?
I'm asking because I think 2 years ago, for Fedivision 2024 (what a cool thing this was!), but maybe just coincidentally right during this time frame (in spring 2024) he posted an instrumental of his.
Not sure if he asked for a singer back then, but I took the opportunity and did sing over his instrumental- Just a quick demo, but I think it came out pretty nice already. His instrumental had some noticeable timing issues - very probably because of DAW latency, nothing that could have been solved; but maybe somehow frustrating for Bela Lugosis dad. He played drums, guitar and bass. And all this damn good, especially his guitar work was excellent. As well as the composition.
My problem. He has vanished. I can't find my conversation with him, I can't find his handle - I don't even know if "Bela Lugosis dad" was his handle or his nick.
Can anyone help? Please? I need to get in touch with him.
Any hint is welcome!

I spent a few wonderful days in the countryside with @[email protected] from Schall und Stille and Frau K. at their place. It was… SO NICE!
The absolute opposite of Berlin (which is a good thing actually) .
And for all you curious folks: We'll remain silent about exactly what we've been doing here until it's finished. And that could take a while (as always when I'm involved)... ;)

German Interview that I conducted with Stephan/Schall und Stille… [so,err… lets switch to German]... vor knapp 2 Jahren, und was praktisch den Startschuss zu einer Entwicklung darstellt, die im Besuch an diesem langen Wochenende mündete (wir waren damals beide sehr aufgeregt, weil wir auch beide lange Zeit nicht mehr in einer Interview Situation waren).
