Who's in SF and cruising around the Mission? I got my new (well upgraded) #Polaroid back and wanna do some test portraits! I will be riding around looking for subjects. You get a free portrait as I'll be taking two - one with my older #SX70 and one with the upgraded one.

Playing with the #Polaroid camera on a little trip downtown. I almost gave this thing away after the first couple packs of film, the photos stunk so badly, but now I’m really enjoying it. I’d like to stop and draw some of these scenes, but my body is in a difficult place and it’s hard to stand long enough to sketch as thoroughly as I like (I love recording lots of funky little detail). I love that the Polaroid lets me record something in an unexpected, organic way that reminds me a lot of how it feels to draw.

I love the new camera but it’s been a bit difficult to get a handle on. Polaroids are so fussy about light and depth of field, but they surprise me with how emotively they can capture things. (also the BW film is the bee's freaking knees)
