I have a finished mix. The vocals are maybe too upfront, although some would say that vocals are never too upfront (you know who you are). If it keeps gnawing at me, I’ll try toning them down a bit. The track won’t be out for weeks or months, so I have time to let it sit and change my mind.
Also, the lyrics play on a *double entendre* that is a bit, how should I put it, naughty? But they are totally safe for work if you take them at face value 😅

Did some voice cleaning and tweaking and some basic mixing. I think I’m about 90% of the way there, maybe more. But now it’s too hot to mix (the weather, not the song) #bonkwave

I think I’ve stabilized the music. Before I record the vocals, I have to let it sit for a while until the singing and the words also stabilize and find their their natural home #bonkwave
