More V32 research... this time about dual-tone beeps that appear alongside the transmissions, repeating every 3.04s (as measured by @FirstToken on YT) Also, Windows 10 notification sound popped up today at some point, and also a few days ago. #shortwave #Iran #numberstation #IranWar #WARINIRAN

The #UVBbuzzer is not a "kill switch for nukes," it's a placeholder. It's there to keep others from occupying the frequency so it can be used for "normal" #numberStation espionage. It's also an easy way for spies to dial-tune (no digital displays, yo) before the information is transmitted.
It's a beacon and a deterrent.

Okay nerds. I utterly adore the #NumberStation generator on MyNoise.net, but I'm interested in listening to the real thing. I found a couple of sites to start looking through, but the ADHD is kinda kicking my butt when I attempt to engage. Can anyone recommend a short how to get started guide? Something that can recommend radio models (ideally without Amazon buy links, because fuck those assholes) and where to tune in? I can work on finding spoons to dig through the longer form information once I get my toes into the water. Being able to do helps with spoon generation for research, after all.
