"Massie said these two donors are targeting him because of his involvement in a bipartisan group of legislators pushing for the release of files related to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. The Republican representative alleged that Paulson appeared in Epstein’s 'black book,' a contact log kept by the disgraced financier.
“Within hours of the #EpsteinFiles release, a #superPAC funded by #IsraelFirst #billionaires #MiriamAdelson, #PaulSinger, and John Paulson, who himself appears in Epstein’s black book, bought another $800,000 of TV ads against me,' Massie said in a second post on X. 'I’ll still win, but if I lose, it was worth it.' "

The woman, Adriana Camberos, was initially convicted in 2017 for her role in a scheme to sell millions of #counterfeit bottles of the caffeinated drink 5-Hour Energy.

Well, this is an interesting bug report! A $100M AI Super PAC targeted New York Democrat Alex Bores, and he's claiming it actually backfired and helped his campaign.
Turns out, sometimes even massive AI-backed spending can hit a `FileNotFound` error in public opinion.

In Feb 2022, the #PAC announced that it had $122M in its coffers.
By the beginning of 2023, the PAC’s cash on hand was down to $18M, filings show. The rest had been spent on staff salaries, on the costs of Trump’s “political activities” last yr — incl’g some spending on other candidates & grps — & in other ways. That included the $60M that was transferred to #MAGAInc., a #superPAC that is supporting #Trump. And >$16M went to pay #LegalBills.

Could #localCouncils manage #townPlanning as a #federation.
StateGovt functions can likely be replaced by Committees of a greater number of national MPs.
State Govt have become corrupted, engaging in #rentSeeking and known to take #politicalDonations from #realEstate and #propertyDeveloper groups through #SuperPac's like the #PropertyCouncil.
