  1. Ross is wrong.

The right can act with impunity when the left doesn't fight them on it. If the right is able to bring violence its because the gentile left is either too small, weak, and irrelevant to do anything about it or they've decided the victim is undeserving of their support.

    Left/Right same system for Jews.

"When #Jewish leaders speak out these days, it’s often to blast the anti-#Israel actions of one #DemocraticSocialistsofAmerica #politician or another. Given all the attention — and the millions of dollars raised within the Jewish community to help defeat these #candidates — you’d think the greatest existential threat to #American #Jews was coming from the left.

But a new #book by #historian #StevenRoss is here to tell you: You’d be mistaken.

“What you’ve seen seeping in on the far left is more anti-Israel and some #antisemitism,” #Ross told me in a phone interview. “But here’s the thing: the left has never called for death to people, the right has.”

  2. These were top of the ticket candidates.

The new screening chair gave them the grace to be considered despite their lack of engagement. The body voted to endorse them, but this was a wakeup call.

  3. We are done.

We considered one hundred candidates. In most cases, the body accepted the recommendations of the screeners.

The takeaway is that candidates who don't engage with us cannot expect to earn our endorsement.

Some candidates who earned our endorsement in the primary failed to respond when asked whether they wanted to re-screen or be considered with the questionnaire and scores from the primary. They had three chances and didn't respond.

  4. Good morning / afternoon / evening!

    I am at the #Endorsement #meeting for our local #lgbtq+ #caucus.

Right now, a mile-long line of #candidates are getting 30 seconds to speak. We started at the top of the hour.

I served on the #screening #committee. The committee screened over 100 candidates.

When the proceedings open, the first motion will be to close credentialing. The second will be to accept the #recommendations of our committee.

  7. The #RNC donation scam leaves a lot of #candidates out on a limb looking for funds while the #defendant pays his legal bills (maybe). Maybe we'll get those Senate and House seats after all.

  8. In Tuesday’s #schoolboard #elections across the #UnitedStates, #MomsforLiberty, a #rightwing group advocating for a #conservative stance in #schools, faced setbacks as its endorsed #candidates in various states, including #Pennsylvania and #Virginia, encountered #electoral challenges. Known for opposing #racially #inclusive lessons, endorsing #bookbans, and disseminating #antiLGBTQ messages, #MfL struggled to resonate with #voters.
