Галактика NGC 6000 — ускользающая от Скорпиона

Эта галактика удостоилась внимания космического телескопа имени Эдвина Хаббла, когда тот снимал еще очень плохо (как мы знаем, этот телескоп был выведен на орбиту с серьезным дефектом главного зеркала, и позже к нему отправляли несколько пилотируемых ремонтных миссий на Шаттлах). Поэтому архивные снимки этого звёздного города — так себе. Но есть свежие, и тоже от Хаббла — они впечатляющие. Галактика NGC 6000 — ускользающая от Скорпиона

Эта галактика удостоилась внимания космического телескопа имени Эдвина Хаббла, когда тот снимал еще очень плохо (как мы знаем, этот телескоп был выведен на орбиту с серьезным дефектом главного зеркала, и позже к нему отправляли несколько пилотируемых ремонтных миссий на Шаттлах). Поэтому архивные снимки этого звёздного города — так себе. Но есть свежие, и тоже от Хаббла — они впечатляющие. Но лично меня удивило то обстоятельство, что эта галактика расположена в созвездии Скорпиона, где галактикам быть не положено.
