As a proud owner of a Fujifilm X-T5 i have to say that people on the net where completely wrong.
The 40 megapixels are awesome and the best thing ever!
I do street photography with fixed focal length lenses and boy oh boy do i need cropping.
2/3th of my photos would be trash if i would not have the extra pixels to crop deep.

4/4 The running man was over two blocks away; the detail shot is a 1:1 crop. From two blocks!
The Pell Bridge in Newport is 16 miles south of Bristol, where this photo was taken.
The length of the bridge is about the size of a quarter held at arms length; this is a view I’ve never had with the naked eye.

3/4 These shots would be impossible without the tele’s long reach; you couldn’t get close enough to fill the frame.

2/4 It’s great for grabbing details; for a lot of these shots, I was a block or two away from the subject!

1/4 My NIKKOR 200mm tele arrived at lunchtime … here’s what it looks like on the adapter, with the built-in lens hood extended.
You’d think it was ungainly, but it’s surprisingly easy to carry and walk around with.
Of course, I had to go outside and test it out.

Ich liebe das Rendering des #Fujifilm XF35/1.4 der ersten Generation. Leider ist die Linse an einer XT5 untauglich.
Kann mich jemand davon überzeugen, dass das XF33/1.4 im Gegensatz zur alten Linse nicht total langweilig ist? Wie bei den GF-Linsen habe ich Eindruck, dass es zu clean geworden ist.
