@elementary The latest kernel update to #Elementary installs 7.0.0.28 which unfortunately has a bug that prevents the #broadcom-sta driver from installing. This also affects #Linux #Mint which creates a serious Kernel Panic. Hopefully this will be resolved soon with a newer kernel?

Instead of privatise their public infrastructure: public transport, public banking, public postal service, public telecom transfer them to this sovereign wealth fund. Demand a 75% royalty on the exploitation of any natural resources, flowing into this sovereign wealth fund. Invest any dividends, income into the national & the worldwide economy. Put the constitution limits on how much parlement may extract per year, long term investment goals, & maybe even let it hold the nation's gold reserve? -

A few minutes ago I suddenly remembered my #Math #Teacher in #Elementary.
What a jerk.When having a test or other written assignments, he wanted us to also write down how we came to the solution.
The others needed half an hour but I was usually done within minutes. The only problem was that the way I calculated the results wasn't the way he taught us — F for failure, do it again!
It needed the principal's intervention until he changed his behavior but he hated me ever since, and hated math… -

@pixelate yeah, as much as this irks me, I agree. I'm not at all a programmer or coder, just a disabled person with mobility issues that basically make touchscreen use impossible.
Part of the issue for me is, even as there are organizations that cover my disabling medical conditions, none really cover quality of life measures, beyond "join a support group based on & in Facebook" & "get a caregiver to do whatever it is for you".
I'm planning on getting #Elementary within the next 2-4 months and as I can, with other projects, try to get physical keyboard smartphones to work with degoogled operating systems.
