Ich frag hier mal auch noch. Mein #Mutterschiff, ein #Toyota #Carina E Sportswagon T19, Jg. 1993, hat rechts die Plastikabdeckung (Lichtglas) kaputt und Ersatzteile sind sozusagen nicht mehr zu bekommen. Hat jemand von euch Erfahrung mit diesen Reparaturkits? Taugt das was? Und vorallem, kann das jemand mit zwei linken Händen wie ich auch?

I bought a couple of cheap Heltec V3 #meshtastic boards off ebay for no specific reason.

I fired them up this morning, flashed the current firmware into them (with the spookily effective https://flasher.meshtastic.org/), and they quickly started connecting to a bunch of nodes. I'm in #carina and I just got a ping from a node in #moggil. 4 mesh hops away, or 20 km. Pretty cool! 40-odd nodes connected and counting.

Now... a purpose...

Just spied a Pheasant Coucal in #carina while driving. I saw it, shouted "Fuck me! Is that a fucking pheasant!?" and jumped on the brakes. I grabbed some shaky long-distance digital zoom photos as it scurried off into a hedge.

So I guess middle age has arrived.
